He rides atop an early 20th-century sleeper rail, once part of the steam railways that wove through northern Cebu, hauling sugarcane to the refineries—industry and nature intertwined.

Set upon a recycled stainless steel plinth, the Super Snail rests contentedly on a patio, or may be anchored beneath the earth to nestle seamlessly into the garden.
