The Piglets
Truffle, Snuffle and Scratch are three individual driftwood piglet sculptures by James Doran-Webb. Presented together, their different poses give each its own character, from an inquisitive standing figure to a seated piglet and a more upward-looking stance.
Truffle
Truffle stands squarely on all four legs, with the head turned slightly towards the other piglets. Layered pieces of driftwood build the body and face in overlapping shapes, while the raised ears and forward-looking snout give the sculpture an alert, inquisitive character. The broad stance keeps the small figure grounded while the irregular surface brings movement across the body.

Snuffle
Snuffle sits back on its haunches with the head lifted and the front legs gathered beneath the body. The seated pose gives the sculpture a noticeably different silhouette from its companions, while the upward tilt of the snout and raised ears bring a lively, attentive quality to the little figure. Driftwood pieces overlap through the body and shoulders, preserving plenty of natural texture within the compact form.

Scratch
Scratch stands with the head lifted and snout angled upward, giving the sculpture a confident, slightly expectant pose. The body is compact but strongly defined, with layered driftwood following the line of the shoulders, back and legs. Raised ears and the upward turn of the head make the silhouette particularly expressive when seen alongside Truffle and Snuffle.
