The Maquette of Solaris

The Maquette of Solaris is a smaller-scale study of the full-size Solaris sculpture, capturing the horse in an extended running pose. The compact scale retains the movement and character of the larger work, with layered driftwood defining the body, mane and tail while the recycled stainless steel armature provides the internal structure.
