The Flight of the Great Horned Owl combines a driftwood owl sculpture with a sculptural water feature. The owl is captured with its wings raised above the circular top of the feature, while water falls around the stainless-steel form below. The contrast between the movement of the water, the curved metal structure and the layered driftwood gives the work a strong sense of motion from top to base.
