The Chelsea Kites Too
Two kites carve wild spirals through the air, locked in a mesmerising ballet above the Chelsea Flower Show. Wings flared and talons tucked, they wheel and dive in perfect synchrony — a moment of raw grace captured mid-flight.
Each bird is anchored only by the tip of its distinctive kite-shaped tail feathers, suspended from a soaring double helix of recycled stainless steel. Made in James’s workshop, the twisted column mimics the winds that carry them, lifting the sculpture high into the sky where art and nature blur.
